THE FLEXIDENT ALL STEEL COUPLINGS,
machined with precision comprise two flanged sleeves with internal spur gear teeth. They are linkd by a set of heat treated alloy steel fasteners and mesh with two accurately machined crowned teeths hubs, with a carefully studied profile and minimum float to obtain the best alignmants.

High standards
Flexident Senior is a 100% steel coupling, manufactured with accuracy by CMD. Its components include two internally geared half covers, which are tightened together with a set of treated bolts. The half covers are then assembled onto twi geared hubs. The teeth of the hubs and covers receive shape corrections, which are calculated and optimized by CMD to obtain maximum contact surface under load, and to allow the highest misalignment capacity.

Reliability
​Flexident Senior couplings were designed by the CMD engineering department. Their specification was checked by the most elaborate finite elements software, and was further validated by the CMD running bench test.

Flexident Senior couplings are manufactured in serial production spare parts are sticked in the CMD, FCMD and CMD distributors warehouses wich are present all over the world.

Technical: CMD technicans and engineers can help you in selecting a standard CMD coupling or designing a specific coupling for your application. CMD design appartment is equipped with the latest CAD and finite elements software in order to calidate new designs.
Validation: CMD test bench allows to run and test the behaviour and reliability of existing couplings or new developments. It allows to apply different load and misalignment conditions to these couplings.

FLEXIDENT Junior

FLEXIDENT JUNIOR couplings are all-steel couplings manufactured with great precision. They consist of two halves of the housing with straight internal teeth, which are connected by tempered screws. Two coupling hubs with crowned involute splines, curved in the tooth head and tooth root, engage in the coupling halves. The profile is carefully designed with a minimum clearance and allows the compensation of misalignments.
Flexident J - The "economical" series with high quality and performance.
For sealing, the sealing rings are fitted at the ends of the housing halves.
The couplings have metric dimensions and threaded connections. They are interchangeable with coupling halves that comply with standard 516-01 for external screw connections.

FLEXIDENT Z
​
The couplings comply with the French steelworks standard, with module and number of teeth optimised to guarantee reliability, robustness and a large location hole. The pre-set covers, fitted with seals, guarantee reliable sealing of the lubricant inside the coupling housing.
